Brown and drain in strainer.<\/li><li>Cut sausage and brown in skillet. Set aside with hamburger in strainer.<\/li><li>Melt butter in skillet. Add dry rice (do not brown minute rice, add with liquid) and carrots. Saut\u00e9 until rice is brown and carrots are tender.<\/li><li>Add next 7 ingredients. Bring to boil, stirring well.<\/li><li>Add meats to skillet. Stir well. Return to boil.<\/li><li>Cover, reduce heat and simmer 15-25 minutes (10-15 for minute rice), or until rice is tender.
